Pakistan Women Entrepreneurship Program (PWEP) - Phase I Report

2016

The Pakistan Women Entrepreneurship Program (PWEP) aimed to build the capacity of women in Pakistan to create, sustain and scale their businesses and increase people-to-people ties between the U.S. and Pakistan. The project was a collaboration between LUMS and American University (AU), and is funded by the U.S. Department of State. The program was carried out by engaging AU and LUMS faculty and staff in exchanges of information, experiences, and expertise relevant to female entrepreneurship in Pakistan. The ultimate goal of the program was to provide capacity building, mentoring and leadership training to help women in areas of marketing, management, operations, finance and human capital development in order to support them to re-calibrate and grow their business ventures.
